Robocall: HRC kills cats

This robocall recites a litany of spurious attacks on Hillary Clinton. According to the call, HRC had an affair with Vince Foster and was involved in the murder of an innocent cat.

This trash politics is disgusting...

I endorse Hillary

After much thought, I've finally decided to back Hillary Rodham Clinton for President.

Here's why:

1. Right experience for the job. Hillary Clinton has dedicated her life to public service. From her work as a children's advocate to her tenure as a United States Senator, HRC has learned the inner workings of our government.

2. Vision. Hillary Clinton is the only Democratic candidate who has fought for universal health care before it became a cause celebre among Democrats. She was attacked by talk radio, but she persevered, a true testament to her character.

Penn: Women are sexist

Disclaimer: This diary is focused on debating general election (GE) strategy. I hope this thread will not regress into ad hominem attacks on any of our strong liberal candidates for President.

Mark Penn on Hillary Rodham Clinton's electability:

"Republicans are not prepared for the loss of a substantial group of Republican women voters ... even in the South," he said. "I think you're going to see as much as 24% of Republican women defect and make a major difference nationwide in terms of, I think, the emotional element of potentially having the first woman nominee. And that that actually will be a major unexpected factor here that will throw the Republicans for a loop."

Let's consider this statement...

HRC on BHO: Too prepared for debate

I find it puzzling that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton would charge that Senator Barack Obama was too "rehearsed" last night. She also alleged that he had a "bunch of rehearsed points." HRC went on to say Obama was "frustrated" by his recent losses.

My view:

1. Hillary is much better debater than Barack. Hillary's answer are nearly always succinct, well-formulated, and filled with pertinent facts  and data. Barack, on the other hand, has a habit of rambling and sound professorial.

Hillary largely excels because she's the best-prepared person in the room. This is an excellent trait for a debater and a leader. She should be proud of her excellent memory and grasp of the issues. Which is why it's so strange she would attack Obama for doing the same thing.

BHO and HRC: STOP the attacks

Ted Kennedy and Rahm Emanuel are right. Bill Clinton should twisting the truth to attack Obama. In turn, Obama must also stop attacking Hillary for her role in defending Wal-Mart and her decision to hire a campaign manager whose ad firm represents Blackwater, the same group which committed several murders in Iraq.

This internecine rift is past the normal attacks of primaries. There's no "where's the beef," instead we get, "she's a Wal-Mart loving closet Republican who hires anti-union Democrats" and "he's a super liberal Democrat who had an unsavory land deal with an indicted miscreant."

I like Clinton AND Obama AND Edwards

I'm proud of Hillary Clinton's work on behalf of women's rights and children all across of America. I thank Barack Obama for shunning a cushy legal job in favor of working as a community organizer on behalf of the poor and the defenseless. I applaud John Edwards for representing the "little people" and fighting to end poverty.

All of our candidates our strong progressives. Hillary has been there from day one for universal health care; Obama has always opposed the war and supported clean elections; Edwards has spent his entire career finding for the poor and underrepresented folks.

We have so much to be proud of us a party. Hillary Clinton is not  a lesbian, with a Muslim girlfriend, who is bent on dividing America and costing the Democrats control of Congress. Obama is not a corrupt doubletalker who is determined to attack the most successful  Democrat in the last 25 years. Edwards is not a flip-flopping trial lawyer.
